Most union workers have never had the opportunity to vote on their membership, because membership has been mandatory for decades. The current automotive worker strikes demonstrate this. They know they’re making less than the people building Teslas, for example, and they’re realizing the union bosses aren’t doing what’s best for them. Can Michigan lose the auto industry?
